Ernest Morris III is a native of Memphis, TN. Before he became a husband, father, author, speaker, mentor, coach, and urban youth advocate, he was just like many others in the city who grew up having to face many adversities. At the age of nineteen, he was at the lowest point in his life. Ernest’s desire and belief in the possibility of becoming a better person led to him seeking after God. Shortly after his twentieth birthday, he had an encounter with God that became all the proof he needed to pursue a better life through Christ. Who knew that a simple desire to be better and outlive personal traumas, would be the very thing that allows him to help others triumph in life?
Mr. Morris has spent the last ten years of his life dedicating himself to God, personal growth, defying odds, and being purpose-driven. He is passionate about invoking change and having a positive impact on the lives of others. His goal is to build a legacy of inspiring and assisting others to break free from the barriers controllable and uncontrollable circumstances have created. He plans to accomplish this goal by demonstrating, motivating, and providing tools for others to strive toward excellence in their academic, personal, and professional lives. He is a proud HBCU graduate and an Urban Youth Advocate.
Ernest’s greatest joys in life are the great works God has done in his life, his beautiful wife Alexandria and their three children, and being able to assist in the empowerment of others, especially the youth.
